Plano Senior Pictures: Kirstie

Kirstie's prom dress was a show stopper and every picture of this high school senior in her dress is incredible. Kirstie, her mom and I all agreed that her red satin prom dress channeled Jessica Rabbit; it really was something to see. Honestly, all of Kirstie's senior portraits are pretty amazing, I'm having a hard time deciding which senior pictures to show in this post. Kirstie had about 40 images to choose from when she ordered and it was not easy to pick the best, all of this high school seniors pictures were that good It's obvious that she spent a good bit of time planning her outfits and her accessories for her senior portrait photo session and the results look worth it to me. Kirstie attends high school in Lone Oak TX and in Commerce TX.

We did a few mother and daughter pictures, something I offer in conjunction with a senior pictures session at Ann Martin Photography and I'm showing one of my favorite mother daughter poses. It's clear where Kirstie gets her looks, mom looks darned good too. Our senior pictures sessions give you the option of a few in studio portraits with your family, if you discuss it with the photographer at your consultation so we can talk about what clothing works best for these relationship type images. Senior pictures are a wonderful time to get a family picture before your senior attends college and the family scatters.

Dallas Senior Pictures - Plano East Senior Pictures of Rebecca

This Plano East senior has a definite style of her own, and she can change it up, from cute to beautiful for her high school senior portraits. She has a good variety of senior pictures including everything from a formal dress to her band uniform to her jeans and converse shoes. She's on the drum line at Plano East Senior High, honestly I was so surprised that this tiny high school girl was carrying around a drum. I was lucky enough to photograph her older sister, Liz a few years back, I love it when I get to visit with families again and again. Best of luck, Rebecca, you were fun and fashionable too!

Modeling Headshots { Plano Headshots Photographers}

Andrew came in to the Plano studio for a few modeling headshots. This one is my favorite of all the portraits we took that day. Notice the cool circle of light in his pupils, that's a result of the ring light I used for this particular picture. He looks fabulous! Best of luck in your modeling career, Andrew.

Allen High School Senior Pictures {Dallas Texas Senior Pictures Photography}

Nick just graduated from Allen High School; a few years ago, I also took his sister's senior portraits. The day started off really overcast, so much so that we decided to waste some time waiting for the clouds to lift a bit as we had a bite of breakfast. The whole shoot was like that, full of unexpected twists and turns. Nick can do some mean Will Ferrell impressions, which he'll just pull up out of nowhere and that kept the whole photo session on a fun note. We encountered some construction, some feral kitties, and Nick's allergies were acting up to top it off. After all that, look at his senior pictures, they're great! I really do love this family, mom Barbara and I really hit it off. Love you guys, stay in touch!

SMU Senior Pictures {Plano Senior Portrait Photographers}

Kelsey graduated from SMU this morning and here are some of her senior portraits. Her sister Dylan is a 2010 graduate of Plano Senior High School and we took their senior pictures at the same time. I'll post some of the beautiful family pictures we took of them together in the next post. This was a "dream team" of sisters to work with, both girls are beautiful and creative and the resulting pictures are gorgeous.

Trinity Christian Academy High School Senior Pictures of MacKenzie {Dallas Texas Senior Portraits}

MacKenzie is gorgeous in her blue formal dress. I'm not sure if it's her prom dress, but it ought to be, it's so pretty and so is she! It was a chiffon overskirt with a beautiful band of beading around the neckline. I'll be posting more of this Trinity Christian Academy senior's senior pictures, and possibly some of her families portraits later on this blog.

Rylee's Photos & Christmas Card {Photography Plano}

I just had to show a few more of 9 month old Rylee's photos. She's not walking yet, but she was standing up at every opportunity so her photo shoot was a bit like sports photography. We're talking action photos! My favorite of this group of images, is the first portrait, with the gilt chair and her pink dress. It's a beautiful baby portrait, and although it's different in feel from the picture of her in her lavender tutu on the antique chase (see photo here), it's very pretty too.
I'm also showing some examples of Christmas Cards using some of baby Rylee's portraits. I think this card is appropriate, she looks like the celebrating type to me!

Baby Rylee {Dallas and Plano Portrait Photography}

High school senior photography and business headshots are the focus of our Plano photography studio, so I don't photograph many babies. I did make an exception for baby Rylee, the granddaughter of my long time neighbor. This tiny dancer is adorable in her lavender tutu.

Portrait session with FC Dallas Dancer, Graduate of Plano East and SMU {Murphy Texas Photography}

Asgid is a FC Dallas Dancer, and also an ESPN girl, but regulations didn't permit us to photograph her in those uniforms. We did get some pictures in her "street clothes". Asgid graduated from Plano East Senior High and SMU and resides in Murphy. I'll show some more portraits from Asgid's photo session later.

More Prom / Homecoming Dress Studio Poses {Dallas senior pictures)

We absolutely love it when Dallas high school senior girls bring in their prom or homecoming dresses for their senior portraits session at our Plano photography studio. Lindsey is demonstrating a few more high school senior poses on the antique chase lounge. The first two in this set are in her formal prom dress, but the last picture shows Lindsey wearing blue jeans, and while this senior picture is more casual, it's still elegant . Formal Dress - Evening Gown- Prom Dress {Dallas Senior Pictures}

I'm real excited about this year's high school seniors bringing in their homecoming and prom dresses for their Dallas senior pictures, because I've got a beautiful chaise lounge to photograph them on! KITTENS

Today we had a kitty in the studio. Joe, (short for "front row Joe"- all you Cinemark fans probably "get" that one), wasn't really into having his portrait made. We tried to do some fun stuff with bubbles, but he turned his back to the camera and watched the bubbles, kind of like a person would watch fireworks.

The experience reminded me of the time I had FIVE kittens in the studio at the same time for a picture. That was a long time ago, and the image was shot on film. I've scanned it, it's not the best scan, but you can see what that kitty photo session looked like. It was a TRIP.

Frederick and Bethany Engagement Portraits {Plano Photography}

I did Frederick's high school senior pictures when he was at Plano East ; he was class president, Mr Plano East and played corner on the football team at Plano East Senior High School. This past week, I also did his engagement portraits; how cool is that, and how gorgeous is his fiancee', Bethany? He and Bethany are recent graduates of Florida A&M. Frederick told me, "I just got lucky; I was in the right place at the right time", when I commented on Bethany's beauty.
I'm just showing a few portraits for now, I'll post more portraits later, including some pictures from our outdoor session at a tiny jewel of a park in Dallas.
